Subject:Zero points What are they, how to edit?

I'm making a CD from a large wave file. I'm cutting it up into tracks using markers coverted to regions etc.

I read in some cases dividing the regions at "zero points" helps prevent gaps between tracks. What are "zero points" how do I drop markers at zero points or edit markers to place them at zero points?

"zero point" is simply the term for anytime the waveform crosses the blue "-Inf." line. If you make your edits at "zero points" you minimize the risk of introducing audible tics.
