hey everyone. i was wondering if it is possilbe, using acid pro, to have the tracks fade away at the end of the song????¿?¿?¿?¿? also, i would like to know if there is a MASTER volume or something that make all the songs the exact same volume level when burning onto a cd???? cause some of my songs are really quiet even when i turn them up to 12 dB... any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.... thanks... i have another post about loops too. thanks. |

For the fade issue, you probably will want to check out Sound Forge XP Studio (which comes free with ACID Pro). You can perform a quick fade out easily using Process>Fade on the menu bar. (Be sure to select a portion of the song at the end you'd like to perform the fade upon first.) Also, you'll probably want to use WAV as your format when editing in Sound Forge, since this is a "lossless" audio format, so render your project to WAV first in ACID Pro. (You can also use PCA format, but only the latest versions of Sound Forge support it (version 5).) You can then do your editing and save in the appropriate format in Sound Forge. (MP3, WMA, RM, etc.) This also happens to be a quicker method of encoding as well. For the consistent volume issue, again, check out Sound Forge XP Studio's Process>Normalize feature. Normalizing will raise the volume across an entire project to a specified level without clipping. HTH, Iacobus |

If you have Acid Pro 3.0, Sound Forge XP comes with it. Once again, you put in doubt that you did purchase the software. It also comes with other software (not demos) and a manual. Personally, I'd like to see SF step in and confirm your purchase. In which case I would gladly offer you an apology. Until then, I still say... get your help somewhere else. |

I'm not really familiar with Sound Forge even though I have it now. Is it possible to export a song (3 tracks) from acid pro to sound forge? cause i want the whole song to fade..... drums, guitar, bass, everything..... not just one track! ok thanks once again Iacobus. I appreciate it. See ya. |

Yes. Render the whole project in ACID as a WAV, then open it in Sound Forge and perform the fade per my earlier instructions. You're welcome! Keep it real (and legal). Iacobus |
