Preview One-Shots problem - solution -ACID Product Family

Subject:Preview One-Shots problem - solution Posted by: beatgeek Date:2/8/2002 8:58:08 AM I've had problems previewing a lot of the one-shot drums in Drum Tools and similar acid cd's- When hitting 'space', the preview meter made a leap, but very often it just produced a click. The sounds were too short to be auditioned, in other words. If you have a similar problem, go to Options-Preferences-Audio in Acid menu. There you'll find a slider controlling 'Playback buffering'. The default value is 0,35 seconds, push it back to zero and start adjusting upwards, one tick at the time. Preview a difficult one-shot for every adjustment. A small slide makes a big difference, 0,5 is bad, 0,6 the best I'll get... Dunno if anyone but me have had this problem, just posting it anyway :) BeatGeek
