Hi, I have created one large wav file using sound forge from a mini disc of a concert. i would like to burn this to cdr, but before i do, i want to mark where each track begins and ends in this wav file (so that when i play it on my cd player i can scroll through tracks). i also would like to burn this wav to cdr using disc at once methodology, so there are no skips or 2 second gaps between the tracks. can i edit this wav file in sound forge to recognize where each track begins, and still keep it as one wav file? if i can do this, then i will be able to transfer all my cassettes to cdr in this manner, and i will love sound forge forever! thank you in advance. |

CD Architect made incredibly short work of tasks like this. Since CDA is no longer on the market, here's how to do it with SF: 1) Drop Markers and adjust to taste...you might want to position them at zero-cross points just to be safe. 2) Convert Markers to Regions (Special | Regions List | Markers to Regions) 3) Extract all regions to individual .WAV files (Tools | Extract Regions) 4) Assemble the .WAV files in order in your favorite DAO burning app with zero second gap between tracks and burn. |
