I'd only be interested if they add those things as skins, but keep the same default layout. The basic windows interface is clean and functional. I find it extremely annoying when an application has a non-standard layout or big funky graphic buttons with meaningless symbols or pictures on them. Give me plain simple pull down menus with plain text words to click on any day. I want to spend my time creating, not trying to figure out some weird interface. |

Ditto on that. I'll take function over looks any day. Iacobus |

Another vote for a clean, uncluttered and functional interface. Keep it simple (but deep) and spend the resources on improving the funcionality. The midi-"handling" in Acid could need a little boost and I would love to be able to insert different timesignatures on the timeline. Off the soap-box... |

Here here for functionality over design. Acid taxes resources enough as it is without skins or some over-designed interface. I find the program intuative and useful - try and figure out FruityLoops, the interface controls are these stupid knobs that don't work partiularly well with a mouse. |

I would not object to an expansion of the track list. I would like to see separate volume and pan handles, and a fx bin like in Sonar. BeatGeek |

Do you really want SF to spend precious resources making ACID look pretty? I'll vote for features and bug fixes any day. The practical clean look of all SFs apps are why I use them. ProTools is a mess, which is why I don't use that. Skins for ACID? It's not an mp3 player for pete's sake (sorry pete). B. |

PLEASE don't do that... thats one reason why i love acid. no shitty colors or bloated interface stuff... just straight and fast. if u like colors u may switch to steinberg products... ;-/ |
