I've just bought this for my daughter and I'm struggling. I want to add vocals to a track I have erased the vocals from but when I select a new file it only offers me 1. Mono or 2.stereo. How do I get the choice of more channels. Also is there an instruction manual I can print. Any help would be most appreciated |

Sound Forge is a multi-channel application for editing, mastering and such. You likely want a multi-track application for adding additional parts, i.e. playing or singing along with previously recorded track(s). (aka, overdubbing) Sony Vegas or Acid would be more appropriate for this. Reaper is a comprehensive low priced multi-track application (styled after Vegas (w/o video) and worth investigation. A good free option is Audacity. Pro Tools, Sonar and Audition are a few other popular options. addendum: "Is there an instruction manual I can print?" You can download the PDF manual and print it .. or take it to your favorite office store and have them print it.. http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/manuals According to SCS, printed manuals can also be purchased at Lulu.com. There are other SCS and third-party tutorials available as well. (hard and soft) Message last edited on9/29/2014 1:27:13 PM byrraud. |
