How to re-export to Vegas Pro 13 a corrected Sound File using FX favorites of Sound Forge pro 11.

to be more precise:

During editing with Vegas Pro 13, I open a sound file in Sound Forge pro. I corrected the sound file with the FX Favorites.

How to re-export the corrected file to Vegas Pro 13 and continue editing.

Thanks for your help.

Just "save" the corrected sound file in Sound Forge Pro, and that ripples the changes through to Vegas Pro.

Needless to say, it's a good idea to have a copy of the original sound file elsewhere just in case you want to go back to the original for any reason. Alternatively, you could open Sound Forge Pro through Vegas Pro using the "Open Copy in Sound Forge" selection rather than the "Open in Sound Forge" selection.

Hey guys! I need to know how is it possible to open a selected part of a sound from Vegas to Sound Forge Pro 11. I mean... I have a file in Vegas. this file is cut in several parts. With the previous versions of Sound Forge, when I was opening the selected part in SF (with the Ctrl+E shortcut) it opened only the whole file but zoomed to the specified part, allowing me to work on it immediatly... Now with SF11 it still opens the file but from the beginning. It's very frusrating because if I have to search for the part in the file and it could take a lot of time... Any clue?

I don't currently have VP at arms length, but as I recall, if a file/event is split into segments and/or trimmed, "Open Copy in Sound Forge will open just that event. (which creates a new 'Take' (file), leaving the original file intact. OTOH, selecting "Open in Sound Forge" opens the entire file with the selected event/segment highlighted... Saving this would alter the original file. (which can't be reversed)

This assumes SF has been designated as your 'Preferred audio editor' in Vegas via Options> Preferences> Audio> Preferred audio editor"

Thats the reason, I still use SF 10 instead of SF 11, I also bought.
