I recently upgraded to SF11, but with an entirely new purchase, not an online upgrade. Have been a SF user since SF2.0.
When I move regions for editing purposes, either within the file or onto a new page or to an existing file, the region markers disappear!
I can find no function which seems to control whether that occurs or not, and it has never happened on any other version I've owned over the last 20 years.
Amy assistance would be extremely welcome and helpful.

Is the "Save metadata with file" check marked in the 'Save/ Save as' window?
That's the same as previous versions going back to SF6 or before.
It wouldn't make any difference whether "entirely new purchase or online upgrade.. on disc or download.. except the price. In most instances the latest build would be desired though.
FWIW, I'm a SF 'user' since SF-3, (and Vegas 1.. which was audio only)
.. that and a valid Metrocard gets me on the NYC subway.
