More UFO's! run away, run away! -ACID Product Family

Subject:More UFO's! run away, run away! Posted by: univalve Date:2/5/2002 7:56:44 PM I downloaded the latest batch of 'Get Media' free loops and, maybe it's just me, but they all sound the same - droning recordings of UFO's coming in for a landing. Or taking off. I know that the primary audience/user base for ACID is electronic dance DJ stuff but I would think people who create that type of music would get bored with the sameness of the sounds too. BTW, don't mean to sound too harsh. ACID and the Get Media feature are great, it just seems like things need to be shaken up a bit before everybody sounds exactly the same.

Reply by: Iacobus Date:2/6/2002 10:45:32 PM I've always believed it's all up to the user to mangle the loop rather than be happy with the way the loop actually is. Think of it as a challenge. You can make a loop sound totally different just by modifying it in Sound Forge and using ACID Pro's own Chopper, for example. Iacobus
