Acid Pro 7 with control surface -ACID Product Family

However, I also have a Zoom R8 that I would like to use as a control surface with Acid Pro. It works very well as an audio interface, but when I try to configure Acid Pro to work with the R* as a control surface it locks up completely, so much so that I have to reboot the computer. If anyone has suggestions for a workaround I would appreciate it.

No discussion of the MIDI messages it sends. If it has a Mackie Control mode definitely try that. If not, then you can set up a generic mapping in ACID to allow it to control basic aspects of ACID. In this configuration ACID will only receive commands from the device. ACID can not send message back to the device to change its "display" - no fader movement on changes in ACID will be reflected back; LED indicators; etc. Peter
