Subject:iZotope Serial Number??

I installed the iZotope plug-in, but now it wants a serial number to run. Where can I find that? I don't see it listed! Thanks for the help.

If you are referring to the iZotope Mastering Effects Bundle which came with SF, then you need to find your original purchase confirmation email; conveniently it is NOT listed with "My Account | My Software" on this website!
If you can't find the email, maybe find the Order Number at "My Account | My Orders" and contact SCS....

Question relating to this - was this a separate download, or bundled inside the SF11 installer ?

The only Izo Mastering FX I can find on any of the installs I've done show as DX plugins in the Plugin manager - none as VSTs anywhere. But not sure if I've installed Izo within the SF install, or from the separate download listed under SFPro9, which *is* DX ....

Geoff,
The iZotope mastering suite 1 & 2 was a separate install/registration with SF 9 and 10.
I don't recall seeing any prompts when I installed SF11.. but.. iZo mastering suite 2 was on the PC already as was SF 9 & 10.
All the above pertains to the download versions.

Can you confirm if they are VST or DX ? (Check folders in Plugin Manager)

Ah yes SFPro11 comes with "Mastering and Repair tools" built-in to the SFPro11 installer, however they do require a separate password; same comments as I made above for that!

When installed the iZo mastering suite plugs are listed in the FX Favorite> 'Organize Favorites' folders under Direct X, Third Party, All and Automatable folders. So yes, they would be DX plugs.

iZotope Mastering suite Plugins:

SFPro10 & earlier = DX
SFPro11 = VST in C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstplugins folder & subfolders
Therefore in SFPro11's Plugin Chooser you will see both DX and VST versions of same plugins if SFPro10 is installed......
