Subject:(Mp3Ssc) Warning: Decoder - sync searched

When I attempt to load many MP3 files, the file does not load and the message (Mp3Ssc) Warning: Decoder - sync searched is displayed. What does it mean and is there anything that I can do to the file to make it acceptable to version 4.5? Usually, I am attempting to normalize the sound and trim the ends of a file. Any help is appreciated.
