Subject:Line in audience recording problems - burn with CD tracks - getting audio bump

Hi,
I'm using XP 4.0 - pretty new to it after using other burning software such as Nero and a few others.
This may be a simple one for someone to help me with:

I converted a live cassette recording of my band to a wav file via a line in.
The file is made up of the two seperate sides of the cassette, hence 2 wav files of this show.
I have been trying to assign cd tracks for each song and I've managed to eliminate any silence gaps, but for any discs I've burned, there is always an audible bump between tracks and I can not find a way to have a seamless audience flow without getting this?? I have asked and called for tech support on the software I was using to no avail...If anyone can run me through using Sound Forge to eliminate this - I'd be grateful and send you a reward!! but really, it's driving me nuts! Thaks! - Robert
p.s. can you email me the help at: vltcrumble@aol.com

Sound Forge supports Track-at-Once recording only. You need a program that supports Disc-at-Once recording, like Roxio's Easy CD Creator.

For more info on Track-at-Once and Disc-at-Once, see the following article at Roxio.

To put it in a nutshell, you would split up one WAV file into several in Sound Forge and then burn those several files onto CD using something like Easy CD Creator (using Disc-at-Once and no gaps between tracks).

SF is an editor not a burner. you need CDA. and SF4.5 In cda you can place a track marker without the 2 sec gap.
