I want to upgrade to SF 11 however I am now dealing in Behringer digital desks, mainly the the X32 family.. However, this is a USB 2 based interface. 32 channels is a lot of audio over USB. USB 2 can transfer 42 channels @ 48 kHz . YMMV as it can depend on a lot of other issues such as sample frame size and any other work on the system. The overall performance of you PC will play into this as well. I don't think that forge is the right tool for this, as you will end up with a single file with 32 channels of audio. Forge is a multi-channel editor, not a multi-track DAW.
