Hi Guys..
I want to upgrade to SF 11 however I am now dealing in Behringer digital desks, mainly the the X32 family..

Is there a way to real-time record from the x32 to SF 11 all 32 channels simultaneously in real time for live, or studio recording..

It appears to have ASIO drivers, and forge can be set to have 32 input sources.

However, this is a USB 2 based interface. 32 channels is a lot of audio over USB. USB 2 can transfer 42 channels @ 48 kHz . YMMV as it can depend on a lot of other issues such as sample frame size and any other work on the system. The overall performance of you PC will play into this as well.

I don't think that forge is the right tool for this, as you will end up with a single file with 32 channels of audio. Forge is a multi-channel editor, not a multi-track DAW. Vegas would be a better choice as you can use a track model vs a channel model.
