Subject:Problem with extracting audio from CD

I just moved to win2000. When I attempt to extract audio from CD it lists my cd-rw but I don't get a list of tracks. I don't know if this is because another device has grabbed the CD or more likely because I've disabled PnP OS and ACPI. I've set my PC up as Standard PC so I wouldn't have the RAID, soundcard, ethernet, and pci DSP accelerator all on the same IRQ. Any suggestions? Thanks.
