I have Acid Music Studio 9, and currently run all my instruments just through a Line 6 UX2 (bass, electric, vocals, keys). Any better, easy to use interface at $200 or less out there anyone uses? I have just the UX2 no other interface or mixer. I am not doing scores or video or anything, just simple rock songs. Any feedback appreciated, thanks all! |

I have a couple PreSonus interfaces that I really like. I have the FireStudio Mobile and the AudioBox USB. I like the FireStudio a lot. I actually bought a firewire card so I could use it. It might be a bit over your budget; it usually goes for about $250, but it has a lot of features and I've had no problems configuring it with Acid Pro. (No problems with the equipment mind you. Me trying to figure out how to configure it however...) The AudioBox USB can be gotten for less than $100 now. I think they might be trying to get rid of them to make room for a new model; so now would be a good time to pick one up if that's something you would want. It's a very simple unit though. It doesn't have nearly as much as the FireStudio for features, but it's easy to learn. Both units are very clean sounding for interfaces in this price range. |

I have a Behringer X1204USB mixer. It's got built in USB and several outputs that can go to mic inputs on your computer's sound board(s). Works fine. With my system I can record up to 4 tracks simultaneously. The mixer also has digital effects. |

Mike, I just purchased a Behringer X802USB mixer. I'm new to usb interface. How can I listen to the music tracks and record input simultaneously while recording vocal tracks? |
