I've given Music Studio 10 a fair shot, but its shortcomings and limitations are proving to be too much. Unable to save bus assignments, losing beatmap settings, constantly losing track of filepaths to data, and often having to force a rescan of plug-ins... it is not ready for primetime. In mine scenario, it is the worst thing a software can be... unpredictable. I've migrated many song projects from Pro 7 over to 10, and can limp along with them... but is there any known workaround to get a Music Studio 10 project into Acid Pro 7? BTW, thanks Sony for the nice Pro 7 update..... even if it was just the box cover. Does this mean in 2016 we might see a new splash screen? |

Highlight everything on the 10 timeline, copy, and paste it into an empty 7 timeline. That might get most of it. |

What Chienworks stated could work indeed. Also you could, before doing that replicate the amount of track in AP7 same as in the 10 timline, otherwise AP7 could paste the events on a single track. VMP |

I did attempt a variety of cut & paste steps, but to no avail. I guess the only hope is if there is some sort of utility that can do the conversion. It was a known risk when I started down this path, but Music Studio is proving to be a spotty and weak alternative. |

Just out of curiosity, did you have both Studio 10 and Pro 7 open while copying and pasting? Sony Creative Software has a bad habit of clearing the copy buffer when you close one of the applications. |
