Does anyone know how to stop sony acid pro 7 from auto scrolling during playback?

Maybe zoom out so the whole project is visible on the timeline.

But out of curiosity, why would you want to stop scrolling ?

I too am curious why you want to stop the 'auto scrolling'.
By checking just now I see that my Acid Pro 7 doesen't 'auto scroll' at all.

Only Sound forge does this.

As Geoff said, you can zoom using the scroll wheel of your mouse. Also with CTRL+scroll wheel and Shift+scroll wheel you can navigate through your timeline.

There are two aspects of this.

- the play cursor
- the edit cursor

When you are not playing, the play and edit cursor are the same.

Whe playback starts, the play cursor takes over the timeline dispay and the timeline will scroll to keep the play cursor visible.

While playing you can move - or set - the edit cursor by clicking on the timeline over an event or track. This will stop scrolling and permit you to edit at some point while still playing back. If you want to restore the timeline scroll, use then'\' key.

Hey Mr Hallsound,

Will this behaviour be retained in A7(64) , or A8 ?
