I can't seem to find a way to actually "chop" audio in the chopper like the name implies! There's no split, trim, cut, paste or anything in it? I've just ended up doing "Edit in SoundForge" instead but it would be nice to cut right then and there. What kind of "chopping" are they referring to when they call it the "Chopper"? More like the "Looker"! |

The chopper does chop, but it chops TO the timeline. Example: Drag a loop that you want to chop to the timeline, Right click on it and "Select in chopper" In the chopper you will see several "slice lines" where the loop has been marked for slicing in time with the timeline settings. At the top of the chopper window click and drag and you will select a region of "slice points"- Using the buttons in the upper right of the chopper window, you can add your selected slices to the timeline wherever the cursor is. It doesn't work quite how you would expect, but it does work and is rather quick once you get use to how to use it. B |
