Subject:Mic level not showing up

When I plug in a mic thru the sound card, I can't seem to ever see a sound level. Just a pulsing of the level but when I talk or cover the mic, no difference. Just the oscillating level indicator.
Thoughts?

You have to set the right soundcard and input line first.

Search for 'Record audio' and 'Toggle record input monitoring' in help.

Thanks VMP,

It was wierd because I was actually recording the signal even though the level wasn't showing up. I did switch it around and have the levels. I was also was expecting there to be a gain level adjustment within ACID but I guess I have to use the internal sound card stuff.

Yes the level meter does show signal even when it is switched to something else.

Glad that it worked out.
