Subject:Music Studio 10 Fails to save D Bus assignments

As an Acid Pro 7 refugee, I thought I would take MS10 for a spin after struggling in the weeds for a DAW that could replicate the ease and flow of the Acid line. I used Acid Pro essentially as a multitracker, but sweetened things with loops here and there... and I became so used to song construction with the Acid bars/beats timeline and clean interface. Forcing my hand to a new software was the issue of hardware interfacing. I could not get Acid Pro 7 to work with my Saffire 6, or one or two other attempts... due to no driver support. Even if that weren't an issue, the writing is on the wall for the fate of that software, so it was time to move on. So I took the plunge and made the extremely modest purchase of MS10. It is familiar and fine, but with the annoying limitation being that of only 4 output busses, which brings me to my problem. When setting up a four-bus signal flow, and saving the project.... upon reopening, the D Bus is there in the mixing console, but the tracks assigned to it are routed to the Master. I am unable to save D Bus routing. Does anyone else have this problem? |
