...but be aware of any copyright problems.

Try http://www.hgb-leipzig.de/~ajoscht/audio/loops/loops.html

I've just discovered the site and have not tried them out.
They have been organized into BPM-groups and there's a lot to choose from.
Probably mostly drum n'bass according to the info.
Now let's go acidizing...

Hi,

Sure, you can find some good loops for free on the net, but if you're really looking for loops that are flexible, usable, and already ACIDized, for non-techo/dance music, checkout... http://www.smartloops.com/ Great loops for rock/pop/funk/and other styles that require lots of variations and dynamics.

I don't mind paying for good quality drum loops, especially accoustic loops in the pop/rock-vein. There are not that many produced in these dance times...
I can recommend Drum Tools, Popped, Brushed, Laidback, RADS and Steve Gadd Drumscore
and have ordered all 3 Smartloops CDs as well. Combining full loops from one set with percussion/cymbal-loops from others should all bases.
5 songs down, 10 to go...
Thanks for the tip
Erik
