The joys of working from home... despite our best (and expensive) efforts to isolate our studio from domestic noise, I've never been able to completely lose washing machine noise! However,I captured a Noise print that does a very good job, especially for those jobs where out and out quality isn't essential (phone prompts that'll end up as A-Law files, for example.) However, it's only on my PC, and I need to transfer it to our other editing station PC. Rather than find a suitable file and start again, this one works so well that I'd like to transfer it... but I'm darned if I can find where it's stored. I've trawled through every folder I can think of, but can't find anything that looks like it. A "global" settings transfer isn't an option, since the other machine's user has her own keyboard shortcuts and various other configurable settings that she doesn't want to change. Can anyone tell me the name of the file that stores the noiseprint, please? Many thanks |

It's never occurred to me that the noiseprint was ever stored anywhere. I always figured it was just an internal buffer of the Noise Reduction plugin. You could take the same original file, copy it to the other computer, and re-create the noiseprint there again. |

An noise print can be saved and exported via a NR-2 preset. |
