Subject:loop a sample?

J am trying to manage Sound Forge with MIDI messages which I create in Ableton Live.
I would want that when a MIDI message is sent to Sound Forge, the audio file is read on a loop. I would want that the audio file is read as long as lasts the MIDI message created in Ableton Live.
Is it possible?

I'm sorry I'm not set up to test what you're asking but, if you search the Help file for the word MIDI, there are several things described there that you can trigger with incoming MIDI commands. Unfortunately, I don't know if triggering a looped sample is one of them. I know that Sound Forge can be used to create loops, but I don't think it plays them by default. I've only seen it play loops in the loop tuner.
