Subject:Not saving SFL files when recording

I've managed to revert back to Sound Forge 7 on my Windows 7 OS which works with fewer glitches than 8, 9, 10 or 11 for me. Now the only annoyance is when I save an MP3 file, I also get a SFL file as well and I'd like to turn that off but can't remember how to do so. Any suggestions? On the Preferences/Files tab, I have unchecked "Delete temporary files on close" and "Hide new temporary files" which got rid of the dreaded SKF files but not the SFL files. This is annoying when I'm recording a batch of audio tracks and before I can post them on my FTP site for my client, I have to delete each SFL file.
