Subject:Creating & Saving a default setup

Every time I select File --> New I have to insert new tracks, name them (vocal, drums, etc) and route which mic goes to which track, etc.

How do I create a default setup that can be saved so that every time I start a new Project the same number of tracks, track setup/naming and mic routing are automatically created?

1 - Create your 'template' track and save it with a distinctive filename in a default location.
2 - Make it Read-Only.
3 - Every time you start a new project, the first thing you do with the 'template' file is to Save as with ythe project file name.

Yes, actual 'templates' have been long requested for both Acid and Vegas, to no avail....
