What the hell is wrong with this company? How long does it take to automatically send an email with an authentication code? Well, if it's Sony Creative Software, it could take forever. I've submitted I don't know how many support tickets the last two days and have not received an answer to one of them. Sony Creative Software is one of the lousiest and unprofessional companies I've ever come across. As soon as I can find another product line backed by a company that actually cares about their customers and products I'm outta here. |

Authentication codes and the lack thereof, is best directed to SCS customer service, which is allegedly more responsive than the 'infamous' slow/no support tech-support. In fact you could just call them on the phone. |

I had to re-authorize a machine I reimaged from scratch. Did it via chat feature - dead easy. |

I had to do that with ACID Pro 7 a few weeks ago. It took all of 2 minutes through the new chat support. |

You'r right! Soye Creative either does not care/does not have enough qualified support staff/does not know how to generate a new authentication code/knows how to but is too busy playing with their Xperia mobiles/ need a kick up their sedative back sides. I moved to WaveLab. It least they answer one's questions. I have more or less given up on Sony support staff. Does any one know how to generate a new authentication code? I read somewhere It is done using the unlock code and the number of the computer SForge is installed on. How difficult can that be? |

If you have your serial number ('My Account> My Software' on this SCS website), it should generate a new authentication code when re-registering. Unless it's been locked.. then you need to contact SCS CS to unlock it.. same goes if you no longer have the your original serial #. Message last edited on5/15/2014 6:00:11 PM byrraud. |

Note that registration and activation (authentication) are two completely separate and unrelated activities. Neither one requires the other. Registration does not need nor create the activation key. Software can be activated without registering it. Therefore, since the information displayed under My Software is all about registration, it really doesn't have anything to do with activation (authentication). |
