Subject:Draw Tool Posted by: arto Date:4/29/2014 12:45:18 PM When I click on the Draw tool (the pencil looking icon) I expect the cursor to change to a pencil, like it does when the Paint tool is selected & the cursor changes to a paint brush. When I click on the Draw tool the cursor is not changing. Is something wrong? Basically I'm trying to get the audio waveform to appear on the track. The manual says to click on the Draw tool, place it at the left side (beginning) of the track & drag it across the track & the waveform should appear. When I do this all I get are evenly spaced vertical grid lines.

When the Draw tool is selected and the cursor is outside a wave form on a track (to the right of the end of a wave form), the cursor is a pencil. When I move the cursor inside the wave form, it turns to a regular pointer (angled arrow head).
