I have problems getting Spectalayers to work with Sound Forge 11. I open an audio file in SF11. I clicked on either "Edit in Spectralayers Pro" or "Send to Spectralayers Pro" option. Windows launch Spectralayers Pro 2. Spectralayers then display an error box .... "Error reading file" - "Output file empty". What is the problem? I have both Spectralayers and Sound Forge 11 installed under Windows 7 x64 system. |

Can't help you there - although I do have SpectraLayers2 installed, both options in SoundForgePro11 are light grey and seem to be unavailable. |

If I had known Sony's Technical Support is so poor, I would not have upgraded Sound Forge from version 8 to 11. I sent them two emails (about 1 month ago) - but - have yet to hear anything from them. |

I think SCS would be a good case study for a business school analyzing companies that were once customer focused and now not so much. Each day that goes by is a day that SCS hasn't acknowledged and apologized for the shortcomings of SpectralLayers. It's too bad reps from SCS don't monitor this forum. 60 topics since its launch on 7/18/12 - how sad is that?! |
