Is there a way to consolidate multiple MIDI clips on a single track into one, continuous, exportable midi file?

I just did a quick experiment of this. I added three MIDI files onto the same track. Went to:
File->Export MIDI...
Saved it as one MIDI file.
Opened a new project and added that new file, and it opened as one continuous MIDI file.
Hope that works for you as well.
