iZotope Mastering and Repair Suite - SOLVED -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:iZotope Mastering and Repair Suite - SOLVED Posted by: dancerchris Date:4/18/2014 9:18:22 AM I am having trouble installing the iZo M&R Suite that came bundled with my Vegas Pro Suite that included SF. I downloaded a file that was called "sfp11-iZotopeMasteringAndRepairSuite.exe" I also recieved a serial number for that in my purchase. It won't install. After running the exe the completing bar (green) gets about 10% done and it never installs anything that I have noticed. (I have the Nectar and Vinyl products installed.) I have installed tons of VSTs in the past and don't quite get what is going on here. I have tried redownloading the exe. I have tried compatability modes (Win7 and XP). I did a search and found some references on the forum here as to where to find it in SF. Nada. There is no C: drive entry for it either. I did find a note that there is a downloads directory "http://download.sonycreativesoftware.com/current/extras/" and it was recommended to downlaod the relative file there. While that did install (there are two files that are labeled Izotope M&S there BTW.) But they seem to need a different serial number than the one I have. Any suggestions? I does not install under the regular Izotope directory but rather: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstplugins\MasteringAndRepairSuite" After I pointed Vegas and Sound Forge to this it works fine.....
