Just curious to know, is there anyone out there that has made any money using Acid. Has anyone sold any music?

i have. all the $ made was doing audio/music for flash and online movies. i usually charge about $100/min which is cheep. i usually just undercut music creation firms who charge about $500/min. i give the client some examples, and mine sound just as good or better as the dedicated firms, for 5 times cheaper. i just use acid pro, my guitar, my motif6, and drum and voice samples. i wish i had more balls to try doing it full time, but i'm a terrible salesman and marketeer. i just like making music.

Cool johannbad,

I have a few songs being used in a couple of movies. A few of the songs were done in Acid from start to finish. I would like to do more of this and maybe get music on TV shows and ads. Wish me luck.

That is interesting to know! I have not sold any of my work as of yet. However I am meeting with some producers this weekend to determine if they will want to conduct business with me.

There is certainly a great deal of business that you can generate using Acid (and other SF products). As well as you can with other PC applications (i.e. Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Database Management, Presentation Development, etc).

Personally, I am in the studio now finishing up on my first CD release to the public. As long as you and your friends buy my CD...then I can answer your question with a "Yes!!"

i have sold my first Track to Fugu records in Switzerland under the name GRUVHAUS.
that made it to many top ten progressive house charts for about 2 months.
it then got licensed to Club fabric with Terry Francis and has stormed Since.
the second release is coming out on RELEASE RECORDS with Bedrock's OKO TEK mix on the flip. i've also got 2 house cuts coming out as GRUVVER coming out on TREE HAUS RECORDS NY with a follow up coming out on INFRASTRUCTURE RECORDS, Brooklyn.

i always hear people say "ACID JUST CAN"T DO THE JOB,sounds too much like reason"
come hang at my place and prove me wrong.
or go tell MOSHIC & ZIDAN from PLASTICA U.K to QUIT!

It appears that some of you have made a little cream from this program. I'm sensing that House Music seems to get a lot of play on Acid (very cool). Is there anyone out there bangin hip hop tracks and getting paid?
