Inside sources tell us that DVDAPro development and any further bug removal was put to a stop in the last release of DVDAPro Ver6.
Actually discounting 2dmenus in a 3d project - you are better off with DVDAPro Ver 5.0b or 5.2 release.
If you are wondering why - note that when Adobe announced dump of Encore for the prosumer - all the industry players took notice of the market changes. That was the last period of DVDAPro development.
Some time ago, I bought a dirt-cheap Scenarist BD 5.7.2 on Ebay, including spare dongles for older versions etc, and it has enabled me to actually create usable blurays with my family and friends. But...I will admit that it's a shame that no real usable solution exists for soho / semi-pro users when speaking of blu-ray creation.
I did ask Sony in an e-mail, a while ago, if it wasn't an easier solution to release a trimmed-down version of DoStudio, instead of spending any $$$ on developing DVD Architect, but I never got a reply.
Despite having Scenarist BD, I'll probably never need the CMF part. I'm guessing that most DVD Architect users won't need it either, thus enabling Sony to release a trimmed down version with replication features either removed or locked down.
Encore is locked down as well. SCS determined that since these market fluctations exist, the only further development they will do is with DoStudio. Did you see NAB 2014?
