Running Program without Windows 7 SP1 -SpectraLayers Pro

Subject:Running Program without Windows 7 SP1 Posted by: Pascal Date:4/12/2014 1:24:28 PM Along with SF11, Acid Pro 7, and several recently released Izotope plugins currently running on my Win7 computer, I would like to add Spectralayers 2.1. My concern is that I do not have nor do I want to install Service Pack 1. I have already asked Sony Customer Service about this and their reply (which took a month to arrive) was that they did not know the answer. Having searched this forum and read numerous knowledgeable replies to other questions, I am hopeful that at least one of this forum's participants is running or has tried to run Spectralayers 2.1 without SP1. I know that adding SP1 is generally not a big deal and some may say just do that and be done with it. However, I am currently very pleased with the way my computer is running and even a small risk of a problem installing SP1 worries me. Any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated. If there is a specific file or group of files that SP1 updates or installs that make Spectralayers 2 run smoothly, that information would be most welcome. Thanks for reading this.
