If any of the SCS engineers are viewing this forum. Please make Acid Pro 7 64 bit. I am even willing to pay for an update as much as an upgrade price. I have contacted the SCS support though they were very friendly they told me that they don't have any information regarding a 64 bit support for Acid Pro 7. Please make Acid Pro 7 64 bit. So that it supports more memory, I am unable to use my latest purchased synths like East West Hollywood strings and brass. I am learning new DAW's but it is taking so much time, at the same time I could be scoring with Acid Pro. VMP Message last edited on4/2/2014 11:40:14 AM byVMP. |

I'd like to see a 64 bit version of Acid as well, but I think Acid is dead. |

I think Acid 8 should be 64 bit. Talking about 'bits', anybody checked out Bitwig ? geoff |

Looks interesting Geoff. But yet that's another DAW one must learn first to use. Yes Acid Pro 8 would be great, I will be the first to buy it. But that's maybe asking too much. A 64 bit support for AP7 would already keep it alive. All around the web there are so many asking the same. VMP Message last edited on4/3/2014 10:29:41 PM byVMP. |

It's one of the main reasons I had to move on from ACID. My system is optimized for 64 bit OS and apps, and most of my VSTi's are 64 bit. I have bridged a couple of 32 bit plugins and every single thing is MUCH MUCH more stable in Studio One or REAPER than ACID. It's too bad really, I still love ACID and find it the quickest way to get SOMETHING up and running arrangement wise, but it just can't handle seeing a project through these days. |
