A 19.9 gig AVC file may not produce a 19.9 gig BluRay file, GAR.

What is the running time of your project? You can fit about 2 hours of high-def video on a BluRay disc.

Hi - movie studio creates an mpeg2 that is 24.5gb - so add a bit for menus and I should be good. But then dvd architect generates an iso which comes out at 27GB !

So what gives ? I thought ISO's were a perfect replication of a file.

Secondly how much time can I realistically expect on the time line to fit a 25GB disc?

Did you add your audio size?
Are you aware that ISOs are indexed?

Blu-ray 25gb single side disc expectation.
Encode Mpeg2 and Audio AC-3 streams
Get 54 minutes of runtime of program at high quality.

Encoding such a disc in DVDAPro will take over 6 six hours of prepare time and approx 2.5 hrs burn time per disc copy

Could be a time issue. The running time far exceeds 2 hrs. I've never tried a blu-ray like this before. It's a 13 part instructional video with each chapter about 45 minutes long. Each file was rendered in Vegas Pro 12 using Sony AVC video stream template set to 1280x720 - 24P @ 4mbs. Matching ac3 audio @192 mbs.

I don't think the 'running out of space' message refers to space on BD disc. Could it be lack of space where your temporary files folder is located, perhaps on your SSD?

Great news, GAR!
