I purchased SF XP, which says that it can repair glitches, clicks and hisses in audio files. The manual and online documentation say that you start by selecting the repair option from the tools menu. Well, that option does not exist in my software. Is this a problem for anyone else? |

The same thing is true for me. I have SF XP Studio 5 - just bought Studio 5 in fact, and can't believe I can't do this. Somebody please help!!! Where is the repair tool as stated in the help file? Thanks. |

Same thing here. I have XP which came with Acid Pro 3.0 and the help menu shows this option. It hasn't been a problem for me yet...I haven't had the need for it, but some clearing-up would be appreciated. |

I don't mean to be the harbinger of bad news (again), but only the full version of Sound Forge has the Repair tool. This was pointed out both in the full manual and the online help. Anything denoted by the red Sound Forge icon can only be used in Sound Forge 5. Anything that can be used with Sound Forge XP Studio is denoted by a blue SF icon. HTH, Iacobus |

Hey, you're the only person answering the question, so that's good news to me. At least that settles the issue, and you are telling me something I hadn't noticed. I'm not ready to spend $250 on repairing turntable needle clicks for my own CD collection, so I'll just deal with what I've got. Thanks for taking the time to clue us in. |
