Hey Sonic Foundry ACID team! 1) I would like to see a solo and lead violin set, in the vein of Jean-Luc Ponty, Jerry Goodman, David La Flamme, David Cross, Eddie Jobson, Boyd Tinsley, etc. Prog-rock, prog-jazz fusion, etc. Mixture of electric and acoustic volin & viola. Hot burning stuff and moody atmospheres, but _not_ orchestral. 2) I would like to see a solo and lead electric guitar set, in the vein of Robert Fripp, Steve Hackett, Steve Howe, David Gilmour, Andy Latimer, Allan Holdsworth, etc. Not shredding per se, or even heavy riffing, but the kind of fluid *thinking* electric axework that characterised the best 70s British prog-rock. Regards, and thanks for listening, Steven Davies-Morris -- a 21st century schizoid man http://systemstheory.net |

Hello, I'm constantly looking for Violin sounds, and so far have not had much luck, Please follow through on the Violin Loops. Some "Fiddlin" would be nice too. See ya, Rockit |

Will do. The funny thing is the Systems Theory project has one member who is a decent violinist, but he is so busy with his *real world* job that he has no real time right now to do what we need! So a disc of some serious jazz-rock-world-fusion solo & lead violin/viola would be a big plus. Once Greg [our violinist/keys guy] gets some free time I think I'm going to bug him about producing this kind of disc if one doesn't show up on the market PDQ! Cheers, Steven Davies-Morris -- a 21st century schizoid man |
