When playing back 48k files..... SF Mac 2 plays the files back slowly.
I opened the same files in DSP Quattro, Wavelab and quicktime and they all play the file back at the correct speed. Is there a setting that I'm missing? Or can't SF Mac handle 48k?

We support 48khz sample rates.

Did you have another DAW or editor open at the time?

Some other audio applications will "hog" the audio hardware, and SFPM will gracefully playback the file at the sample rate that's being dictated by the other application, regardless of the file's actual sample rate.

This issue can manifest itself with precisely the symptoms that you've described.

It's working here. I have some 48K/16-bit AIFF files that I'm using in a video and they play back at the proper speed in SF Mac 2.0 for me.

Are you using the built in audio hardware or do you use another device?

What options does FMP allow you to select for your audio devices?

I need to check and see if I had other apps open.

I am using it with the Metric Halo 2882. I tried the same 48k file with Wavelab and DSP Quattro and they played back at the correct pitch. I will report back when I'm in front of my system.

Thanks for the input!

I have the Halo as well and haven't seen this kind of behavior.
