Right now i have A SoundBlaster AudioPCI. Its a basic 30 dollar soundcard running at 16bit, 44.1k or so it says. when i rip cds or record instruments it always makes them sound dead. I am planning on getting either a SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum or M-Audio Audiophile 2496. If anybody has any suggestions on soundcards for pro recordin i would appreciate. thanx -XS |

Ditto on that. I have an M-Audio (a subsidiary of Midiman) Audiophile 2496. I absolutely love the thing. Iacobus |
