Hey guys, first post on the forum. I'm having an issue where I'm trying to use Acoustic Mirror to convolve a sound with a very long (74.68 seconds) impulse response I found (.wav file). However, the result is cutting off at just over 6 seconds. I also tried going to the Envelope tab and stretching it all the way to the end, but if I switch tabs and come back, it snaps it back to 6 seconds automatically. It *does* sound like it is applying its own decay envelope at the end, I just don't know how else to tell it not to. Any help is appreciated, thanks! -John Michael |

I don't think AM will work with a WAVE impulse file. Try the SIR convolution VST plug-in which supports WAVE impulse files. http://www.knufinke.de/sir/sir2.php#differences SR-1 is freeware, SR-2 is 190.00 USD. Message last edited on2/6/2014 10:11:37 AM byrraud. |

I don't think that's entirely it, because I did get a result, it was just cut off with an applied decay I couldn't change... also, in the help documentation, it says that WAV files are supported and encourages trying different files that aren't necessarily impulse responses. But I'll try this plug-in as well and see how it works out. Thank you! EDIT: I was able to get the result I wanted by using the impulse response WAV as the main file and the file I wanted to apply the reverb to as the impulse response...which works fine, but I still wish I knew what the problem was.
