Unable to open more than 12 media files

I'm using DVD Architect Pro 6.0. I just started a new project and set out to add 15 media files to it (AFAIK the maximum per project is 99). However, after the 12th file I cannot import additional ones. There is nothing wrong with the remaining 3 files as they import without problems in a new instance of DVDA.

It's a travelogue where I found it convenient to use one file per chapter. I know I can nest all files in a large one and I will do so if I don't find a solution soon. I'm just wondering if I overlooked something. Any ideas?

TIA,
Lou

Did you patch DvdA Exe with this patch ?
Did you close all other running programs except DVDA ?
Did you use the Mainstream mpgeg2 template ?

If yes, you will be able to add many menus / pages. I'm doing a project, and explain problems here...
Right now, I've tried to render my project with +- 65 menus/tracks without problem... so, I carry on.

1. Tried it with 5.2 or 5.0?
2. Are the files compliant? If not, they may be using too much memory.

Thanks for the quick responses!

@Didier:
No patch, I didn't know this one.
No other programs except DVDA were running.
I was using AVC files, not MPG2.

@Musicvid10:
1. I no longer have DVDA 5 on my system. Moreover, I would have to start all over again as DVD 6 projects aren't backward compatible.
2. The files were rendered using the Sony AVC compiler, so they must be compliant. I've been using AVC often, never had problems.

DVDA still is 32-bit, whereas SCS says on their site:

DVD Architect Pro 6 system requirements

Puzzling. I have a 64-bit system with 16 GB of memory and it is funny that I should be running into memory problems using DVDA.

Anyway, I took the easy way out and nested all files in an overall project. But, again, thanks very much for responding.
