Creating DVD with Elementary Streams

Using DVD Architect 5 to create PAL stereo audio DVD
On advice I have opted to created project using Elementary streams

Used Movie Studio ... and MainConcept DVD PAL Stream Render template ... selected
'include' audio and on system selected 'separate elementary streams'
This creates post render:
video_file .m2v
audio_file.mpa
and 2 supplementary to go with each. .sfk, .sfl etc.

When I go into DVD Architect ... and create 'new' ... 'single movie - PAL DVD - AC3' it then presents me with a browse window .... which file do I choose or doesn't it matter if they are in same folder ?

If I select the audio_file.mpa it also loads a video track, if I select the video_file .m2v video it also loads an audio track. Is this normal ?

Not sure if there is a sequence to follow.

Once again, why do you not use the "DVD Architect PAL video stream" template customizing only the bit rate. Don't go to the Audio/System tabs. You'll get an .mpg file.
Then for audio, use the AC-3 template (or Wave).
Make sure you render both files to the same folder with the same name. If you do this, when you import the video stream into DVD Architect, the audio stream will import automatically.
All of this was in the "Vegas rendering settings for a DVD" link.
DVD A recompresses the .mpa audio.

It is not necessary to cross-post on these forums, and doing so will only create confusion for everyone. Thanks.
