Subject:Vocal Eraser

Hey there.
I'm a new user to Sound Forge 10 (Or any version of Sound Forge for that matter). I just bought it yesterday. One of the features I was looking forward to using was the vocal eraser, to get the vocal tracks out of songs. However, when I attempt to do use it on any music, the button is grayed out, and won't allow me to use it. I've tried all sorts of audio files but it still won't work. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help!
