Subject:Acid Music Studio 10 - please add this function

One of the features missing in Acid Music Studio 10 that is missing from Acid Pro 7 is the ability to render each individual track at a time. SCS please put this feature into Acid Music Studio 10.

Also - with each incarnation of Music Studio you were able to take a file from AP7 into Music Studio - you would just lose functions and options that the pro version had.

This is not possible in Music Studio 10. I tried opening an old song in Music Studio 10 and it comes up with a code $app(something)

Always lovely (not) to see new versions of Sony Software ie: SF Pro 2 for the Mac and see all sorts of activity on the development front and Acid Pro being left to rot in a 5 year plus old version.

I went back to Acid Music Studio to do some drum editing because on one positive note about the program the grid system and editing is ridiculously easy in Acid.

AP7 (and earlier - not sure how far back) has the render dialog to save separate files that is a check/uncheck button. Are you referring to something else?

I dislike that when I link a 1-shot that I change to beatmapped, decide to relocate it and later relink it, it loses the beatmapped feature and reverts to 1-shot...just sayin.

The "render each track to a separate file" option has been in ACID Pro for some time.

Sound Forge Pro 2 for Mac is just playing catch-up with its PC cousin so no surprise there. (Though that whole Convrt thing seems intriguing.)
