I'm pretty sure there's a grace period, provided you bought Studio 9 within a time frame. Contact customer service and I'm sure they'll hook you up with the latest version.

Maybe they should consult you every time before releasing a new version ;-) Or was it a world-time problem - where are you ?

Did you contact customer support and ask if they could do something to help your situation ?
