When trying to open Sound Forge Pro 11, it scans for plug-ins then locks up on kontakt 5 .dll. I try new administration and pro 10 or pro 11 would not open. But pro 10 opens in my old administration. Both programs are needed but Pro 10 is the one that opens. I would love to use the new plug-ins in Pro 11, if i could get it pass the plug-in scan. Is there a solution? Jay |

You can uncheck the plug-in in "Options> Preferences > VST> Select available VST Plug-in" |

Hey, Is there a way to uncheck the box without opening Sound Forge Pro 11? I thought about removing 9 komplete but it took two hours to install the first time. Any solutions? Jay |

"Is there a way to uncheck the box without opening Sound Forge Pro 11? - Not that I'm aware of. You could move the 'problem' <*.dll> files to a folder not named "vst". Don't know anything about '9 komplete'. A two-hour install sounds odd. Does it work with other host software? SF does not support VSTi if it uses those instruments. |

search the forums for VST no scan. There is a post somewhere that you add this "- VST no scan" to your desktop short cut it will stop scanning. I'm not sure if the that's what you type. |
