Subject:That Grovel Bug...

I too had that bug in Win XP (and others had it in Win2K) where Sound Forge would croak loading plugins, with a message about a dll with the word "grovel" in the name. I traced it to the Antares Auto-Tune 3, which uses the cursed Interlok copy protection. I uninstalled Auto-Tune and SF loaded all my other plugins fine. Note that I only got Waves NPP to load properly by upgrading to a newer version of Interlok and using their latest version of the plugins. I'll see if AutoTune works now that the newer Interlok is installed on my machine. I hope this helps those of you that were searching for the problem. I also have the VST Adapter from Fxpansion and that is NOT the problem. Best, Jack |
