How do I have Acid gradually lower the bass on a track say for 15-30 seconds so that the end of that track I'm down to just about zero bass? Do I need a plug in for it? I forget what the correct DAW term for it is called. Thanks in advance.

It's called a 'Fade'. Drag the top corner at the end of the track and pull left until the right length. Choose the type of Fade from the right-click fly out menu. Or use SHIFT+V to get a track volume envelope and double click to add points to adjust the volume range. It's all in the help files.

Thank you. I'm familiar with the volume envelopes I did not know you can do it with just the bass (low) part of the song. I'll check it out when I get home, the word I was looking for was "automation". I'm not sure if that's the same thing.

I thought you meant a bass track. The 'bass part' of a song can be reduced through EQ (equalizer) settings but not sure you can reduce it by rolling it off completely without affecting the lower mids. Maybe Spectral Layers can do something. Good luck, I'm out of my depth here.
