Subject:Recording issues with Behringer UCA202

I have Sound Forge 10, Windows 7 desktop pc, and I'm trying to record vinyls. I was able to record through the Line In on my laptop but I'm unsuccessful on my desktop. I did not see the vertical green bars flashing in recording devices when I enabled Line In. Does this indicate why I'm unable to record anything? thank you for your help.

Check your sound-card's mixer 'record' settings, confirm that Line-in is enabled.
Then check the SF audio device type menu, Options> Preference> Audio / Record / Device Type The "Window Classic Wave Driver" or "Microsoft Sound Mapper" works with most internal sound cards.

It was the sound-card's issue after all. I happened to download some driver from Behringer's website and I believe it's working now. Thanks for your help.
